4.7 thousand inspections of companies and sole proprietors are planned by the Tax Service
Who will be under the Tax Service’s scrutiny?

The State Tax Service has planned 4,700 business inspections for 2025. The most attention will be focused on companies from Kyiv, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Around 400 businesses will be inspected each month, with the most visits scheduled for October.
Of the 4.7 thousand inspections, about 3.7 thousand will target companies, while the remainder will focus on sole proprietors. The Tax Service will also inspect financial institutions and non-residents. Additionally, 266 businesses will be inspected regarding questions about personal income tax (PIT), military levy, and the unified social contribution (USC).

The Tax Service will pay the most attention to companies in Kyiv — 18% of all inspections. The second most inspected region will be Odesa Oblast, followed by Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, with 12% and 10% of inspections, respectively.
The most inspections will be focused on companies in wholesale trade — 20.7%. Another 15.1% of inspections will target agriculture and hunting. The top three is completed by food production, with 6.2%.

In January, 287 businesses will be inspected, and another 371 in February. In total, the State Tax Service (DPS) will visit about 400 businesses every month, with the most inspections planned for October—423.
