The number of Diia.City residents doubled in 2025

As of early February 2026, 3.7 thousand companies are residents of Diia.City, according to the Diia.City portal. More than half of the companies on the list joined last year. Meanwhile, the number of employees in Diia.City resident companies has doubled. 87% of new residents are young companies, registered less than a year before joining.

As of early February, 3,707 companies are registered as residents of Diia.City. The past year has been a breakthrough for the legal framework, with the list of residents doubling.

The profile of a resident has changed significantly over the years of Diia.City’s operation. At the launch in 2022, most applicants were mature businesses — only about one-third had been operating for less than a year at the time of joining. Currently, however, 87% of new residents are newly established companies.

Resident companies are actively expanding and hiring specialists. In fact, the number of employees has doubled in companies that joined Diia.City in 2022. Overall, nearly 80% of residents have increased their staff during their time in the framework.

It is worth noting that companies may also exit the registry.

Despite the diversity of industries, the core of Diia.City remains IT. In particular, 2,844 companies operate in the IT sector, accounting for 77% of all residents. This is followed by information services (6%) and the manufacturing of other transport equipment (6%). In 2023, the share of IT temporarily declined from 80% to 63%, while the presence of companies involved in the manufacturing of other transport equipment increased to 13%. However, in 2025–2026, IT once again accounts for 80% of new participants, while the share of the transport sector has decreased to 5%.

More than half of the residents are registered in Kyiv: 2,012. Lviv region ranks second with 502 residents (14%), followed by Dnipropetrovsk region (6%), Kyiv region (5%), and Kharkiv region (4%).

As a reminder, on February 8, 2022, the special legal framework Diia.City was launched in Ukraine. Its advantages include preferential tax conditions for IT and innovative companies, the ability to reserve employees from mobilization, access to specialized infrastructure, and opportunities to attract investment.
