Forty-seven percent of Ukrainian courts will not send subpoenas by mail

Almost half of the courts in Ukraine (355 courts) will not send notices by mail. This is about 47% of the total number of courts in the state.

The situation has developed due to lack of public funding.

One of the first courts to stop sending subpoenas was a court of Ivano-Frankivsk. It spent UAH 75,000 a month on postal services, while the budget included three times less. Then the court representatives recommended keeping track of court hearings using Opendatabot.

Similar situations occur all over Ukraine now: UAH 445 million is included in the budget for sending court correspondence, while courts have to spend more than UAH 1.2 billion on sending subpoenas.

Monitoring of cases in Opendatabot is free for Ukrainians. You can subscribe to notifications from Opendatabot not to miss the information about the court hearing date and information about the lawsuits sent to the court in general.
